Meet the Decorator
Marie is a true visionary. Born and raised in northern Ontario she has developed a keen sense of balance between all living things.
After completing a Degree in Social Work at Laurentian University she worked with clients helping them on many different levels. She always attempted to put her strengths to work for her. Through her profession she continued to grow the strengths that she knew she had. These areas included the ability see what others were trying to explain to her; visualize a solution for them; and the ability to step back and allow others to make the chose that felt right for them.
Despite gaining great joy from her profession; her passion for decorating began to take a strong foothold when she and her husband purchased a new home five years ago. Marie took on the great challenge of making this space her own. Using her keen sense of color, texture and style she has turned their home into a sanctuary that truly reflects both her and her husband.
Marie has an innate ability to read clients. She listens to and understands their needs. She is able to translate their needs and feelings into colors that reflect who they really are.
Through the use of color, texture and the right placement of furniture helps creates positive energy within an area. Marie has been able to do this in her own life and has brought this to clients and their homes that she has previously worked with.
